Hey folks! My washer and dryer are about seven years old, and I want to keep them running smoothly for as long as possible. What kind of regular maintenance do you all do to extend the life of laundry appliances? Any tips welcome!

You’re smart to stay ahead of it. Clean your lint trap every load, and don’t forget the vent duct. For washers, leave the door open after use and run a cleaning cycle monthly. Also, avoid overloading—big killer of motors. If they ever need a pro touch, Astera Services https://www.asteraservice.com/ provides heating, cooling and appliance installing and repair and can tune up or repair laundry appliances to keep them going strong.
