I've been toying with the idea of working as a freelance wedding officiant for a while now. The prospect of accompanying couples on such an emotional day really appeals to me. Does anyone know what the training process for becoming a wedding officiant is? Are there set standards or even an official certification? I'm looking for something with substance, not just a weekend workshop. It
's especially important to me that I can learn in a practical way and be truly prepared afterward. Has anyone already completed training or is a wedding officiant themselves? I'd love to hear your honest insights!
