Hi everyone! I’m thinking about designing a ring and can’t decide—should I go for handmade or try 3D printing? Has anyone done either or both? Curious what felt more personal or detailed to you.

Hey! I’ve tried both, actually. Handmade pieces definitely have that traditional, artisanal vibe, but 3D printing totally blew me away with how precise the details came out. I had a custom ring made through Olertis that started as a 3D sketch, and it came to life exactly how I imagined—flawless leaf details, balanced gemstone placement, the whole deal. If you want creativity and accuracy, 3D might be the way to go without losing the personal touch.
