Hey everyone! I’ve been reading a lot about bullying in schools lately, and I was wondering if anyone here knows about the latest statistics on bullying in New York? I’ve seen different numbers and reports, and I’m trying to get a clearer picture of the current situation. Any insights?

According to the latest data from the new york bullying statistics Department of Education, about 27% of students reported being bullied at school. This includes verbal, physical, and online forms of bullying. Interestingly, cyberbullying has been on the rise, with around 15% of students facing it. These stats reflect a worrying trend, as the numbers have been gradually increasing over the years. Schools have implemented various anti-bullying programs, but it seems like more work is needed to truly address the root causes. One notable point is that minority students and LGBTQ+ youth tend to experience bullying at higher rates. I hope this helps clarify the situation!

Thanks for sharing those stats, that’s really helpful! I didn’t realize the numbers were that high, especially with cyberbullying. It’s good to know that schools are trying to do something about it, but you’re right – there’s clearly more work to be done. Appreciate you taking the time to break it all down!
