While gold is a highly sought after metal, the value of gold is still quite arbitrary. In reality, there are hundreds of different gold coins that are also trading on the market and there’s no indication what its current value may be. However, there’s no reason why this can not change. In fact, there are many coins that aren’t even worth much at all. Some of these coins are even counterfeit and only worth their face value.
