I'm curious how people handle longer, location-based search phrases in website forms. When a user enters something like “Pet friendly hotels cranberry pa,” the search should ideally recognize the accommodation type and location without requiring the user to fill out several separate fields.

For those who work with ASP or other web technologies, would you recommend keeping the full phrase as a single search input and processing it on the server, or splitting it into separate fields for better filtering?

I'm interested in how you handle spaces, inconsistent capitalization, and location names while keeping the search experience simple for users.
