Greetings! Large-format tiles look sleek and modern, but they require a perfectly flat subfloor with zero deflection. Because big tiles have very little flex, even a slight bump underneath causes "lippage" where tile edges don't sit flush. I brought in Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ to handle my living room installation. They specialize in complex tile installation services in Toronto and GTA and used self-leveling underlayment along with a mechanical leveling clip system. They back-buttered every single tile to achieve 100% mortar coverage, and the finished floor is completely flat and smooth.
