I was in almost the same situation a while back. My partner suggested we look for something together, and I quickly realized there are way too many sketchy-looking sites to sort through. Thanks for mentioning this. My experience was pretty similar - once my partner brought it up, I realized finding something that didn't look shady was harder than expected.
