| As the mornings get colder, I’ve been thinking about investing in some heated gear. I don’t want to wear bulky layers when working outdoors or during my weekend rides. The idea of a heated vest sounds great because it keeps your core warm without restricting movement. I came across one from Kemimoto that looks decent, but I haven’t tried any of their heated clothing before.
What I’m curious about is real-world comfort and performance. Some vests heat up fast but lose battery power quickly, while others keep running for hours but never get quite warm enough. I’m wondering where the Kemimoto heated vest stands on that scale.
Has anyone here been using one for a while? How well does it handle washing, and does the fabric stay flexible after multiple uses? I also wonder if the heating zones are well-placed or if they leave cold spots. It would be nice to know if it actually helps on cold morning rides or if it’s more of a light comfort layer.
