| When I need to learn about a service I haven't used before, I usually start by looking at its website and comparing information from a few different sources. I've found that a professional-looking website doesn't always tell you everything you need to know.
This can be especially important when researching something unfamiliar, such as an outpatient surgical center. Besides looking at the services offered, I'd want to check the facility's credentials, understand what the process involves, and know who to contact if I have questions.
What do you usually look for when deciding whether information on a website is trustworthy? Do you rely more on official sources, independent reviews, or recommendations from people who have used the service?
I'd be interested to hear how others approach this when researching something important.
