Canned Salmon Patties (Best Ever), This recipe has been in my family for many years. I changed the bland original and tweaked it a bit. Added the grated onion, lemon juice, and dill seed. Then fry in butter. My friends say it is a "Recipe to Die For!" in a manor of speaking only. The picture of my mom (June E.) and dad (Andy E.) in Chicago 1944 is because he loved salmon, as I do. We could and would eat it cold right from the can! Must be our Finnish heritage.

Breakfast Patties, It took some experimenting, but I finally came up with a tasty, healthy way to replace sausage or bacon. Breakfast is a very important meal; but for those who have to watch sodium intake, it can be a difficult meal to prepare. The challenge is to have something flavorful without salt. Cereal and oatmeal get boring day after day. Also, cooking breakfast takes time that we don't always want to give up in the morning. This recipe addresses these "problems" with breakfast. Just prepare ahead and microwave while you are getting ready for work. Yummy!

Cheesy Baked Asparagus, When I was going through treatments for cancer 3 years ago, I learned a lot about the foods I needed to eat and asparagus was one of them. I would make this at a minimum of once a week and it is absolutely delicious. I even got my husband hooked on asparagus with this recipe.

Sweet Potato Casserole With Pecan Topping, I always go to this recipe for holidays. It's so simple and delicious. I wouldn't post this if it wasn't amazing. The topping gives it a a sweetness and a crunch with the pecans, it's wonderful. I have many who ask for recipe when I bring it to gatherings. A tried and true recipe.
