Reflections of the cross can be seen
in the waters of this life
Jesus who died high and lifted up,
took away our sin and strife.
The cross stands strong through all our days
the power of Jesus has been revealed
His life is the greatest this world could know,
His love cannot be concealed.
In the pages of God's holy Word,
reflections of the cross are found
We see salvation for all men
who will believe on God's one perfect Lamb.
Great peace, He gives, in the midst of the storm
there is no mountain too high to climb,
When you see problems through God's eyes,
He'll give you rest and peace of mind.
If you feel you cannot endure life's struggles
or have been in a valley too long,
Look up to the Savior and reflections of the cross,
will give you joy and a brand new song.
You'll not go under but over
as Jesus will carry you through,
Trust in His holy name and power
He'll always be a friend, who is faithful and true.
