| Publicist Raymone Bain sets record straight to Geraldo Rivera.
(January 24, 2006)
*Michael Jackson’s spokeswoman Raymone Bain is again refuting claims that the singer is strung out on drugs or that he’s extremely ill.
"I've seen him, I've spent time with him, we've been on the phone...there's so many people who have spoken to Michael in the last several months that can verify the fact that he is not drowning in drugs,” Bain told Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera. “It is unbelievable how some of these reports are disseminated.”
Bain also cleared up reports of Jackson being desperate to secure a job in Bahrain.
"The truth is that a multi-billion dollar entertainment conglomerate has asked him if he would consider becoming an advisor helping to bring entertainment enterprises to the Middle East," she said.
As for Jackson’s languishing Hurricane Katrina relief record, Bain says the project’s various artists have been "speaking to him constantly back and forth." Bain added that the song is planned for release in mid or late February.
