i already said that they were young. but to your quote: i think you have to have psychical problems to something like that. i also find the virtual world very cool, but the RL takes place in the real world, so i would never (=>NEVER) risk my health for a pc-game !
i heard about that, very sad and strange at the same time.
and earlier this year a guy in california, who was a college student, played x-box for 4 days straight and ended up having a massive heart attack because of the stress from being in from of a TV for 4 days non-stop, now that is hard to do, the most i can stand looking at a PC screen is not very long, i would find it very hard to play for 4 days non-stop.
Aw man, and I thought that I, with my 120 hours of KotOR 2,was bad...
There is this one guy from XFire, his name is =FD=Napkiller (one of Penner's friends), he has played (right now) Battlefield 2 for 462 hours. Now, is that guy sick or what?
this guy isn't sick ! just look at the x-fire profiles of some CS-players ... that's really insane ! i know some CS-players who spend every single weekend with playing non-stop. but they aren't sick, too. i think if you still HAVE a RL and your RL-activities are more imortant for you than your virtual activities, you aren't sick ...
