Hey folks! I’m about to get some new appliances and it’s my first time overseeing a full installation process. I’m a bit on edge about what to expect. How do you prepare for an appliance installation? Are there certain steps I should follow before, during, and after the installation to ensure everything goes smoothly? Any advice or tips would be super appreciated to help me manage this without any hitches!

No worries, getting new appliances installed is exciting! The key is preparation. First, make sure you have all the measurements right for where your new appliances will go—this avoids any surprises on installation day. Also, clear a path for the installers to ensure easy access to the installation site. It’s good practice to review all installation requirements beforehand; sometimes there are electrical or plumbing preparations needed depending on the appliance. I had Astera Services https://www.asteraservice.com/ in Chicago handle my last installation, and they were incredibly thorough. Their team of HVAC and appliance installing and repairing services professionals made sure everything was set up for an easy install. They checked the fittings, made sure all connections were secure, and even tested the appliances before they left.
