Pellet activated carbon
also called columnar activated carbon has a large specific surface area and developed pore structure, which can adsorb toxic and harmful substances in air and water. The price of wood pellet activated carbon is higher than that of coal pellet activated carbon, but wood activated carbon is more suitable for domestic water and food-related industries, and coal is more suitable for air purification and industrial sewage treatment. Aquarium water for ornamental fish is also biological water, so it is more suitable for use.

1. Deodorizing, deodorizing, eliminating odor. The fish itself has a fishy smell. If the water in the fish tank is not changed frequently, a fishy smell will inevitably develop. Pellet activated carbon
utilizes its micropores to effectively adsorb these odors.

2. Purify water. If the fish are not fed, there will be fish food scraps, fish secretions and excretions, and drug residues that the fish release when they are sick. Ornamental fish raised in water for a long time will affect the health of ornamental fish.

3. Residual chlorine from tap-water can kill fishes. As known that residual chlorine is the residual element after water treatment from tap-water supplying company. Sunshine can release residual chlorine from tap water but aquarium activated carbon can help you to save time.

Ornamental fish tanks usually have small pumps. Pump the water and filter these residues through the sponge filter layer. But some bacteria and small particles cannot be filtered out and can turn the water yellow. At this time, the water filtered by the sponge layer and then filtered by the pellet activated charcoal
will become clear again.

In conclusion, pellet activated carbon
as aquarium activated carbon will play more and more important roles for aquarium.
